Welcome to my home page.

My novel-writing began as an offshoot from my work as a TV journalist. Twenty-five years of reporting the news for ITV, most of that as Defence and Diplomatic Correspondent, gave me the ideas for my first books.

The stories in my nine best-selling novels have ranged from underwater adventures with the Royal Navy to the life and death missions of SIS agents in Iraq, Burma and Ukraine. Most recently I have dipped back into recent history with a story set partly in the Korean War.

My latest suspense novel was published in Arrow paperback in October 2005.

A murder mystery and a love story, Dark Angel is a little different from my previous novels, the last three of which featured MI6 agent Sam Packer.
